12th Century Alhambra – Granada Spain (Alhambra de Granada)
The Alhambra de Granada Palace was one of the greatest architectural wonders of the world. It was created in the 13th and 14th centuries, and it remains so today and it is one in new 7 wonders of the world list, which also participated for voting. It’s a great thing to come in new seven wonders selection list. It’s unlikely that any future civilization will ever be able to match the magnificence and mysticism of this extraordinary fairytale place.
Alhambra is a unique creation spawned from the gold coffers of Moorish sultans, the creative minds of poets and philosophers and the agony of slave labour. Wars, sieges and years of neglect have failed to detract from the allure of the Alhambra, which draws millions of visitors a year to a hilltop overlooking the city of Granada, located in Spain.
